Design & Adorn Necklace Kit: Electric Heartbeat Advanced Kumihimo – Steady Beat
The Electric Heartbeat is an exciting, electric-charged necklace that takes advantage of the fascinating relationship between the structures of Edo Yatsu and Kongoh Gumi!
This is an advanced kumihimo project that must be completed on the marudai. This necklace cannot be made on a foam disk.
Before beginning this project you should be proficient in both dropping beads into a braid and the continuous beads technique. Previous experience with kongoh gumi is required. Previous experience with Edo Yatsu is helpful, but not required.
The kit includes illustrated step-by-step instructions and the materials to make one necklace approximately 19″ long.
You will need the following tools to assemble the kit:
marudai, 8 70g tama, 250g of counter weight, chop stick, blue tape, scissors, and pliers to attach the clasp.
The kit includes:
instructions, needle, superlon, size 8 seed beads, size 6 stop beads, endcaps, jumprings, toggle clasp, binding thread, and E6000 glue.
