Two Color Fade Necklace – Black & White
By stringing each warp with a specific sequence of beads you can achieve this beautiful A-B-A ombre effect! In the Black & White colorway, your necklace begins with shiny, opaque black O beads, fades into shiny, opaque white O Beads, and then fades back into shiny, opaque black O Beads. The endcap is a shiny black acrylic magnet.
The catalog image shows the completed necklace in black & white with full color images of the two bead colors in this particular kit.
The Two Color Fade Necklace is a project for the intermediate kumihimo braider. Before beginning this project you should know how to drop beads into a kongoh gumi braid (top-right down, bottom-left up) on a foam kumihimo disk. You should also know how to bind off your braid and how to glue on an endcap.
You’ll need the following tools to complete the bracelet: foam kumihimo disk (regular 1/2″ thickness), 8 weighted bobbins (~23g each), clip-on center weight (~45g), and scissors.
The kit includes: instructions, big-eye needle, superlon, O beads, magnetic acrylic endcap, binding thread, and E6000 glue.
The kit makes one necklace either 19″ or 25″ long.
