About the 2-strand Palace magnetic clasp: The hammered texture is the same on both sides. The length (loop to loop) of the clasp when closed is about 17mm (about 5/8"). The clasp is about 16mm (5/8") wide. These magnets are quite strong and one can hold, on average, 200g. Each listing is for a bag of 5 clasps.
Slight size and weight holding variations are to be expected as part of the manufacturing process.
