This 6mm TierraCast Endcap Set with Starburst Magnetic Clasp includes two 6mm Palace endcaps, one Starburst magnetic clasp, and four jump rings. You will need two pairs of jewelry pliers to assemble the set. The length of the assembled set is 2 1/8". Because the ends of your beaded braids fit inside the endcaps, this set typically adds about 1 1/2" to the finished length of your braid.
About the 6mm Palace Endcaps: the inside diameter is 6mm and the outside diameter is 8.8mm at the widest point. The inside diameter of the loop is 2.5mm. This size endcap will fit on an eight-warp braid made with size 11 seed beads.
About the Starburst magnetic clasp: The length of the two sides clasped together is about 5/8". These magnets are quite strong (but not as strong as the Palace magnet) and one can hold, on average, 100g. There is a little lip around the larger side of the clasp that the smaller side nests inside. This requires you to make a twisting motion when opening the clasp.
About the jump rings: They're 20 gauge with a 4mm inside diameter. They're the perfect size to connect the clasp to the endcaps.
Slight size and weight holding variations are to be expected as part of the manufacturing process.
