Take your kumihimo skills to the next level by learning how to braid around a core! A core is required when the size of the stringing material (Superlon Micro) is too thin to support the size of the beads (size 11 seed beads.) Braiding around a core supports the beads and helps keep a round structure to the braid and prevents twisting.
The Beaded Rope with Size 11s features a bead soup mixture of colors in varying amounts. Each bead soup mix has a dominant color and several accent colors. These mixed beads are strung randomly without making a pattern. As you braid the colors will appear as randomly sized groupings. The Beaded Rope is finished with all-in-one acrylic magnetic endcaps.
