The smooth round satin cord provides structure, strength, and stability to the braid while the variegated ribbon adds delightfully shifting colors and metallic accents. The two materials play off each other in an intriguing chevron pattern. Sitting at the center of this beautiful braid is a Unicorne focal bead. Try not to get lost in the swirling depths of color!
The Chevron necklace uses a square braid structure known as kaku yatsu in Japanese. The braid is worked in two rounds per sequence: first clockwise, followed by counter-clockwise. The resulting braid is truly square with four flat faces!
