Each Dreaming of Venice kumihimo necklace kit features a stunning Murano glass focal bead from our favorite Italian bead vendor. Each focal bead is a tiny work of art and a vital link in a chain of talented chemists and artisans going back hundreds of years. Every focal bead has been wire wrapped by me and transformed into a ready-to-wear pendant for you!
The Dreaming of Venice beaded kumihimo necklace features a sophisticated two color ombré with metallic accents to coordinate with the pendant. Although the necklace is mostly made of size 8/0 seed beads, the very center uses size 11/0s. This central detail of smaller metallic seed beads both draws your eyes to the pendant and helps keep the pendant centered on the braid.
