Location:  Design & Adorn in Tucson, Arizona (4630 E. Grant Road)

Event type:  In-person class

Materials Included: No.  You'll need to buy:

  • 1 pack of Aratashi ribbon
  • 1 6-yard skein of satin rattail
  • magnetic endcaps (6mm if using 1.5mm rattail, 8mm if using 2mm rattail)
  • binding thread (Nymo D, One-G, or KO.)
  • E6000 glue

Homework Required:  No.

Will the project be completed in class?  Yes, if you choose a bracelet length.  No, if you're making a necklace.

Tools to bring:

  • kumihimo disk (I like the 4", but 6" works fine for this project.)
  • 8 plain bobbins (weighted bobbins are ok, too, but the plain ones work fine for this project.)

Tools you can borrow during class:

  • scissors
  • tape measure

What's the cancelation policy?  Classes are non-refundable.  We don't teach a lot of classes and we keep our class size small to ensure everyone gets lots of attention.  That means it's big to us if you sign up for a class and then cancel.  That's why classes are non-refundable; however, we can mail you the instructions if you miss class.

Do not come to class if you are sick or have a known Covid exposure.  If you are sick and need to cancel, we'll issue a store credit.  This is on the honor system.
