Each Serenissima kumihimo necklace kit features a stunning Murano glass focal bead from our favorite Italian bead vendor. Each focal bead is a tiny work of art and a vital link in a chain of talented chemists and artisans going back hundreds of years. Following along with the detailed kit instructions, you'll learn how to wire-wrap your focal bead and attach your braiding cords to it in this striking asymmetrical design.
La Serenissima beaded kumihimo necklace features a sophisticated three color ombré with metallic accents to coordinate with the pendant. You'll finish your necklace with stainless steel magnetic endcaps and conceal those beneath color coordinating peyote stitch endcap covers. The Delica beads for the endcap covers are match to one of the seed bead colors in the necklace and feature the same metallic accents.
These kits are suitable for braiders of all levels, but if you're a beginner please consult the Beaded Kumihimo Starter Guide and Understanding the Braid before you begin your project. These are both free PDFs on our website. You can also watch our Beaded Kumihimo Quick Start Guide on our YouTube channel.
