The Water Dancer necklace features a chunky, textural spiral of magatama and seed beads attached to a pre-braided leather bolo cord with magnetic endcaps hidden under peyote stitch endcap covers. The Water Dancer earrings feature the same textural spiral, but in a slimmer profile with all of the magatama beads pointing the same direction. The earrings are finished with a graceful, swaying tassel.
Water Dancer is a kumihimo kit for all levels. Previous experience with the basic round braid (kongoh gumi) on the foam disk is helpful, but not required. If this is your very first beaded kumihimo project, please review our Beaded Kumihimo Starter Guide before beginning your necklace.
The Water Dancer kit includes
- detailed written instructions
- Superlon braiding cord
- size 8 Japanese seed beads
- size 11 Japanese seed beads

*I also have vegan braided nylon available. Just let me know if your order notes and I'll swap it out. The nylon doesn't come in all the same colors as the leather, but I'll pick out something pretty for your kit.
